A thousand year wait, for that second touch,
No need to hurry, race or rush,
A yearning, physical dependency,
Released by the minds, skilful key,
Unlocks the ancient purple gate,
That quietly guards, the path of fate.....
There comes a point within the chaos, when stillness descends. In these precious moments, you can rest in the quietness, be still, breathe, refresh and mindfully bathe in the awareness of the tranquillity, as it surrounds you and your arena. Listen and hear the whispers of your soul. I did and I wrote them down. You are invited to follow my creative writing journey - Mark Osmer, Poet and Author of The Stillness Within The Storm

The Vision of Crazy Horse - Lakota Chief
“Upon suffering beyond suffering; the Red Nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for a sick world. A world filled with broken promises, selfishness and separations. A world longing for light again. I see a time of seven generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the sacred Tree of Life and the whole Earth will become one circle again. In that day there will be those among the Lakota who will carry knowledge and understanding of unity among all living things, and the young white ones will come to those of my people and ask for this wisdom. I salute the light within your eyes where the whole universe dwells. For when you are at that center within you and I am that place within me, we shall be as one." - Crazy Horse

Courageous Dreaming
Courageous Dreaming,
No limits or ceiling,
A purple satchel, kept safe my hopes.
Along life's, steep and slippery slopes,
Stomach churning,
Loves deep yearning,
Kept a hearts desire, a burning....

Within the Storm
I love the stillness, within the storm,
Hold your silent sleeping form,
Wiped the tear streaks from your face,
And journeyed to our sacred place....

Spiral Ascent
Physical
worlds, illusional feel,
For the
dreams I touch, are real,
A lattice of
bodies, writhe,
Layered,
groaning, lithe,
Punctuated by
soft moans,
Building to
higher vibrational tones,
Witnessed by
the moons silent crescent,
Lower worlds,
spiral ascent,

“Honor the love in your life, not the pain and not the suffering. You can heal your losses and your heart. It doesn't have to hurt for the rest of your life.” |

Geronimo, Apache Chief,
"I was warmed by the sun, rocked by the winds and sheltered by the trees as other Indian babes. I can go everywhere with a good feeling."

Thrones of Rock
Tendrils of mist cling to the hills of humility,
Silent, calm, aware, alive,
A soul awakened from a recurring dream,
Fresh invigorating tonic, drawn from beauty's source,
Wooded palace, thrones of rock, faunas purple hue delights,
Delicate smiles illuminate the path,
Light footed, deliberate, hushed, precise......

Sleeping Tree
Opened adventures door,
Made sunshine,on its golden floor,
Not looking back, pace gathering,
Blissful, purple wanderings,
Healed and stunningly set free,
In the shadow of the sleeping tree......

Native American Wisdom
Honor the sacred.
Honor the Earth, our Mother.
Honor the Elders.
Honor all with whom we share the Earth:-
Four-leggeds, two-leggeds, winged ones,
Swimmers, crawlers, plant and rock people.
Walk in balance and beauty.
